Developing & Delivering a Business Case for the Group Executive Board

This was a highly specific brief to help a recognised knowledge professional see his proposal for a new Operational Risk Framework from a Board Member’s perspective. The subject was highly technical, and one key issue was working with the client to find a structure and set of images that would allow the Board to fully understand the details of the proposal. This “partnership working” included:

  • Using “mind maps” and other planning and brainstorming tools to kick-start creative options
  • Drilling down into all the components to test credibility, viability and competitiveness
  • Analysing and questioning facts and figures to ensure they withstood scrutiny
  • Structuring the information for maximum clarity and impact
  • Developing persuasive language and imagery to sell the proposal
