Working One to One - Some recent projects

Very often clients use this one-to-one training to work on their presentational skills. In this case we had a manager who had great ideas for getting his organisation to think and behave differently – he just had to open their minds to it! Consequently we worked on:

• Understanding that “the first five minutes” starts from the handshake, not the first slide
• Recognising that “less is more” in delivery and visual aids
• Practising “making the connection” with the audience and “owning the space”
• Developing techniques for arousing curiosity and enthusiasm in the audience
• Learning to take risks by revealing the person behind the ideas
